bullet point   Brief - Communications evaluation – Loyalty scheme:
Evaluate attitudes towards an on-going DM and email marketing communication, sent by a well- known loyalty company, and make recommendations for improvements.
    What Aurora did:
We developed and implemented a unique interactive online ‘Paintbrush’ tool which enabled recipients to paint over an image of the communication using different colours to indicate the areas they looked at thoroughly and the areas they particularly liked and disliked. Combined with other attitudinal and behavioural measures, the paintbrush tool enabled us to provide a comprehensive analysis of each communication; this approach was so successful it has been used to evaluate similar communications on a regular basis.

bullet point   Brief - Service Style Monitor Study - Airline:
To monitor satisfaction with service style at various touchpoints – booking, airport and in-flight, to understand the drivers of satisfaction and areas for improvement.
    What Aurora did:
We designed and continue to conduct an online tracking survey amongst the airline’s customers who have flown recently. Customers rate service at each relevant touchpoint and answer open-ended questions on what the client airline does well and how they could improve. The client airline is also compared with key competitors and reasons elicited for preference. Results are presented after each wave in the context of previous waves and competitors, allowing the client to understand attitudes to their service style, reasons for changes and how to improve.

bullet point   Brief - Brand Price Trade off study – Car insurance market:
To assess the inherent value of the client “brand” on a price comparison website vs competitors. To quantify what, if any, “premium” the brand could charge and still win new business.
    What Aurora did:
We used a Brand Price Trade Off methodology and built this design into a mocked up set of price comparison website results created to replicate the respondent experience of using such sites. Respondents were shown different combinations of insurers and prices and, for each scenario, asked which insurer they would choose. Analysis allowed us to derive the “value” of each brand vs its competitors and so be able to produce a model to predict behaviour at different pricing points.
